Trailer Winch

This little puppy was a breeze to install compared to everything else in the trailer

and it to was also a learning experience. When we decided to buy it we were also thinking of being able to pull in a large car or truck. Sort of a retrieving vessel we could use for picking up one of our broken down trucks. That's why we bought such a large capacity wench, a kinda kill two birds with one stone thought.

If we had it to do over again we would have bought a smaller one and we would have done a little more research and got one that didn't eat up cable so fast. Fast is good most times in life but it pulls the helicopter in so fast it makes it very difficult to keep up with everything that's going on, what's about to hit what and so on. So the lesson learned here is slower is better.

Other than that we aren't complaining, the wench itself has performed just like the book said it would. We had to fabricate and install a backing plate so it wouldn't tear itself out of the floor and wire it in, aside from that its a snap to install.
