Weight & Balance

This is a 4.9 lb weight we added to the inside of our left front skid.

It brings the ship to a nearly perfect level when I'm flying our ship solo. I also carry a 21 lb weight bag on the floor of the passengers side when I'm soloing to simulate the passengers weight I'm used to having.

To make this weight I filled a piece of electrical conduit with molten lead and added a hook to the end of it just in case I needed to remove it someday to make adjustments. So that it wouldn't be bouncing around inside the tube I lined the outer ends with an adhesive called Urethane to keep the weight snug in place in the tube.
