Tail Rotor Aftermarket Items

The small spacers on the tail rotor adjustment rods are so you can make adjustments to your tail rotor belt tension alot easier.

This mod adds a bit of weight but makes your life much easier.

The spacers in our ship are made of chrome molly tubing which is much heavier than the ones you see here which are made from aluminum, either way do it while your building your ship because later on you'll be glad you did.

Pro-Drive Tail Rotor Setup

These are from John's Personal Ship and the Pro-Drive booth at Sun 'N Fun 2002 I think

These are from Sun 'N Fun 2004
Donna and I got to fly in this ship at the air show this year and it was smooth as silk.  This is a mod Donna and I sure want to have one day soon but it will have to wait until we get the new secondary setup Pro-Drive has put out on the market.

Eric Cymlbaliuk in Canada produced this tail rotor pitch change slider.

I'm pretty sure he's gone out of business.

Im not sure but I think this is a mod
that came from Eric Cymlbaliuk back in the late 90's

I'm assuming
that this is a mod to keep the forward tail rotor belt from vibrating
and causing the belt to twist or jump off the main drive forward pully.  It's another one of those mods you see but don't find much information about.

Tail Rotor Rpm and temp Sensors

A fellow made this to keep track of his tail rotor rpm
to let him know if his tail rotor belts were slipping.  This is a small part of a larger mnitoring system that monitors all the bearing temps in the ship.  To my knowlege this isn't an item thats for sale at this time but if it all goes well he may be selling it in the future.

And these are the temp sensors that keep track of his bearing temps
