once we got everything removed we could by hand.

We thought we got lucky and the cover wasn't damaged but once we got the last limb off this is what we found.

Looking at this picture you can see that the entire deck has been shifted toward the southwest by what looks like some 2 or 3 inches

Several of the joint covers were knocked off from the impact of the tree falling on it

The weight of the trees actually cause the deck boards to crack allowing the hold down fittings for the cover to be layed over sideways
