Flight Training Phase 3D

Training In TN
on October 27, 2002

I've been trying to decide what to do and where to do it as far as finishing my training and after chatting with a CFI here in Tennessee I went for a visit with him. After a bit of chatting we went for flight in his ship to see where I was and what he thought I would need to get my ticket in his ship. After an hour of flying the CFI felt that I would need no more than 15 hours, maybe less, to attain my ticket in his ship. Worst case scenario, that means another $3,000.00 dollars plus another $250 dollars for the FAA examiner at check ride time. The real down side is the guy isn't comfortable enough to give me a sign off in my ship because he's only got about 5 hours in a RotorWay. That means that I'd have to pull the entire thing off in his ship and leave mine in its box until I actually get my ticket. I really don't want to go that route but with the way work is going I really don't have a choice. There isn't anyway for me to take a week off now and probably won't be until April or so if at all.
