Main Rotor Blade Box

The first blade box we made got too small once the pitch horns were installed
so we had to make a mod to it or make a new one. We decided to go ahead and make a new one since we would need one to haul the blades in on an open trailer.

As we were constructing it, it just kept growing lol.
What we had planned was to not only have a box for the blades but all the stuff we have to have on hand too. The extra space provides room for things like grease, antifreeze, oil and ect. plus the bearing blocks and room for extra parts like fan belts, fuel filters and ect.  It's an all in one package and an awfully big box lol.

A few years ago at Homer's in 2001 we saw a fellow come in from many miles away and he couldn't fly his ship because he had forgotten his bearing blocks.  We surely didn't want this happening to us.

Since we ended up buying an enclosed trailer and we don't take our blades off
for trailering our ship this box has really gotten to be a pain in the a** to have around lol.
