Lights & Strobes
Whoah!
We couldn't believe what the little light bulbs that light up the ship at night cost us.
We called Rotorway and got a price of about $1,100.00 and about had a heart attack.
We ended up in the thinking and research stage again, and after a few weeks and a lot of phone calls, decided it would be better to order all the components separately from Aircraft-Spruce and that Whelen products were definitely the way to go.
We spent close to the price Rotorway wanted but got a lot more than we would have had we went with their kit. Our strobe power pack will run three strobe lights plus we got three more post lights for the compass, FADEC, and the overhead switch panel.
What would have been nice to have would have been that wood block that goes under the strobe light so it fits to the tail boom, it's not something you must have but it would have been nice.
