Head Set Hangar Bracket

If you have an electric clutch you must have a headset hanger hook.

We just used the push pull handle of the factory clutch until we installed Spurling's Pro-Drive Electric Clutch setup.

After that until we came up with a decent idea for a hook we had to leave them sit on the seats. After looking at everyone else's setups we finally came up with this simple setup. A piece of stainless steel metal, a few bends and a little bit of sanding on the sharp edges and we had it going on.

Big note here for ya's, Doug Bush pointed out something to me at Sun 'N Fun one year.

When you hang your headsets DO NOT hang them from the forward edge or the roof.

If you do during the first few hot days your ship sits in the roof will settle down and you'll have a large gap between your roof and the doghouse.

Several people learned that the hard way and I'm glad he told me or I would have been one of them. Another thing you may want to make sure of is the hanger holds them tightly.  Its pretty easy to forget to remove the passengers side unit when you fly solo and it would really suck if it fell and blocked the collective or something from be able to work or worse yet would be having a headset fly out the door perhaps taking out your tail rotor.

In the event you trailer your ship and forget to remove and store the headsets you'll find them on the floor of the ship and more then likely have some major rub marks in them and what ever they were rubbing against. There's alot going on when you trailer your ship and we've forgotten to store ours more than once lol.
