Circuit Breakers

These little guys will put a hurt on your builders budget.

There are cheaper units available but we wanted to stay with aircraft quality since this is such an important aspect of the ship.  The other big concern here is the cost of avionics, of which we had no idea of when we pondered building this ship, and we wanted to be sure to offer this equipment the best protection possible in our budget.  We could have used the same type fuses RotorWay used in the switch panel but imagine yourself our in bfe somewhere and fumbling around your limited goodie pile looking for a fuse.  With circuit breakers you can just reset it and keep on going, lord willing you don't have a real problem going on.  You can also use them as switches to cut power to certain circuits in the event of a power strain situation.  Anyhow these don't come cheap we paid $25.00 bucks a piece for them but the insurance they offer in our mind is priceless.
