Four Corner Seams

(for lack of not knowing what else to call them)

We muddled along constantly thinking
RotorWay really needs to improve on their molds

because this adds an unbelievably high and unnecessary amount of work to your building experience.  Doing this joint was a real deal, there isn't any reference in the books, videos, or prints as to how to place the Dzus fastener here.  We posted several times on the net on Ron Curry's site and the PRA site but alas got no answers that we could make any sense of and for some reason no one had any pics including RotorWay of how to go about the task.  We talked to Tom Smith on the phone about it but couldn't really get a good visual mentally so this is what we ended up doing.

This is when I first thought of sharing our builders log as a web site

that gives you pictures to look at and at least some insite on building this thing.  We've seen plenty of ships at Sun 'N Fun and Homer's but the whos, hows, and whys are kinda tough to absorb because your so overwhelmed with everything else that's going on.

FGetting all of these panels to come together was no easy task, it took us forever to get it all right becaue the body suffers from many poor molds.  We had to add to the seams in one panel and take away on others.

With a few pictures its
Not such a big deal is it lol

This is the final outcome
