2006 Polor Bear Ride

It should have been named The Great Chase!

This is us giving it after 2 steady hours of playing keep up with the pack.

This ride was extremely disorganized and pretty much turned out to be waste of a good day. There were just about 100 scooters in it which were disbanded within the first 5 miles where half of the group got stopped at a red light and the leader kept going and from there it only got worse. Basically we rode from KHD through Clinton to Lake City hung a left until Oliver Springs and then south to Lenoir City which is where we caved in some 5 miles short of where we found out they ended up having lunch which we had no idea was going to happen since the pre-ride briefing wasn't too good.  Gary, Lou, Donna and I pulled off on the shoulder to take a break for about 20 minutes before heading back to Knoxville via the back roads ending up on Kingston Pike.  We would have taken more pictures but it was too cold to go without gloves while riding and not to mention we were riding to fast and hard.
