Rolling Thunder's

Freedom for Soldiers Ride

November 19th 2005

This ride started out at about 50 degrees at Biker Rags on Kingston Pike in west Knoxville, TN.  The parade began at about 12:15 pm after a short meeting and blessing.  There were at least 50 or so motorcycles participating.  The route was east on Kingston Pike to south on Pellissippi Parkway.  That took us to Alcoa Highway where we once again turned southbound.  We followed that path until we reached Highway 321 and turned west to our final destionation at Smokey Mountain Harley.  This ride raised some $1100.00 dollars for the 278th soldiers relief fund.  There were lots of donated door prizes given away during the drawings.  Donna won a certificate for a free sandwich from The Time Warp.
